Memory and Neuro rehabilitation clinic
Neuro rehabilitation is a very important step in restoring functionality in a person with acquired, degenerative or developmental neurological problems. Ranging from deficits due to stroke or tumour, epilepsy or head injury, cerebral palsy or dementia. It helps a person return to functionality in physical, psychological and cognitive domains.
There are very few centres that provide comprehensive neurorehalbilitaion services. Our team of experienced neurologists, neuropsychiatrists, neuropsychologists neurophysiotherapists, speech and language therapists work together to formulate a plan for comprehensive care.
Our rehabilitation plan ranges from out patient care to hospital care. We also work with other medical specialities to give one of the most comprehensive care.
Memory clinic works closely with Neuro rehabilitation services and Geriatric clinic to help diagnose, assess, treat individuals with memory or other cognitive impairments.
We use tests standardized assessment tools validated for our population based on their demographic profile, and help people through different stages of cognitive decline and dementias. This includes retraining sessions, family support and education plan.
Meadowlark de- addiction services
This unit is equipped to provide acute to long-term care for individuals with various addictions.
We work closely with the Emergency and Intensive Care Unit to take care of acute problems, i.e., detoxification, withdrawal states, and associated medical and psychiatric complications.
This service is backed by a comprehensive team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and physicians from other medical specialties to handle complications arising out of various addictions.
The step of detoxification is followed by a comprehensive outpatient based pharmacological and behavioural therapy plan including MET, covert sensitization, relapse prevention strategies and other psychological intervention.
Substance dependence is generally associated with increased risk of other psychiatric and mental health issues, family and marital conflicts. Our rehabilitation plans encourage families to actively participate in care. Individuals with above problems are encouraged to seek family, couples and marital therapy.
We work closely in association with a long-term rehabilitation center in Pune. In individuals who are unable to deal with substance dependence with outpatient plan we encourage them to seek institutional care and later continue the same plan on OPD basis.
Child and adolescent care clinic
This clinic offers help to children and adolescents with mental health and psychological needs.
Our team of behavioural therapists, clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and psychiatrists with vast experience of working with children are well equipped to provide the care this special group needs. We are equipped to treat disorders ranging from various neurodevelopmental disorders that includes autism spectrum disorder, Intellectual disability, Attention deficit hyperkinetic disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities and scholastic disabilities to childhood behavioural and emotional disorders.
We conduct comprehensive assessments for intellectual functioning, scholastic performance and emotional disorders.
